Maisey definitely has dysbiosis as a part of her disease if the response to metronidazole was that rapid.Options: - Can you try a different probiotic - VSL3- We can trial tylosin as another option - but it would be better to scope her first- Or consider a faecal transplant (daily capsules by mouth or a general anaesthetic - and administration per rectum), we could do that at the same time as endoscopy if you would like.I asssume the flare has resolved now - so might be a good idea to book in for a consult to discuss the options / treatments.
