CRT<2secs.<br>HS/LS clear<br>Eyes/ears nad.<br>LN nad.<br>teeth good.<br>Abdo nad.<br>Good coat.<br>swelling above main pad laterally on RHL with discharging sinus. <br><br>Advised O suspicious of grass seed consent to sedate and lance.<br><br>Waited until 1:45pm, so fasted.<br>Butorphanol 0.15ml + Medetomidine 0.07ml IM. Mild sedation achieved.<br>Numbed area.<br>Instilled 0.5ml lignocaine.<br>Lanced.<br>No FB identified. Explored pocket, nothing apparent. Flushed chlorhexidine diluted.<br>Closed tissue glue.<br>Atipam 0.07ml IM<br><br>ASS: potentially grass seed that is already out?<br><br>PLAN:<br>Home to monitor.<br>Paracetamol 125mg BID</p> </div></html>

Present for Nurse consult for anal gland expression. Has been holding tail between legs since Christmas and doing very offensive smelling farts. O worried anal glands impacted.TXAGS expressed, decent sized and quite hard, difficult to express.

HX:Adventures over xmas, played fetch in big back yard boxing day. Since then rash on sternum. Tried antihistamine which didn't help.
