Appointment Notes: panting, diarrhoea - waiting in carHistory:EDDU: Past 5d has been passing diarrhoea - yesterday partially formed, then diarrhoea. Today really sloppy stools. No blood/mucous seen.No vomits.Eating well.Current diet: cooked chicken/rice and kibble (duck/turkey flavour). Drinking seems normal.current meds:Paroxetine 60mg PO SIDBehaviour mostly going well, but has noticed some panting in the evenings (from 6pm onwards), was occurring prior to GIT issues. O thinks reaction to neighbours dogs.Examine: 1. BAR2. Vitals: NAD3. Body condition: overweight approx 7%4. Oral exam: Mild tartar - dental grade 15. Eyes: NAD6. Skin / ears: NAD7. Auscultation: NAD8. Abd palpation: NAD comfortable9. Palpable lns: NAD10. Anal glands / perianal area: not examined Lab: faecal flot = Assessment:1. Enteritis/colitis - underlying cause unknown.Differentials include inflammatory disease, infection, metabolic disease, other.2. Some anxiety in the evenings, discussed adding in further meds at night but want to get GIT issues sorted prior to adding more meds. O to call to discuss once GIT issues resolved. Treatment:Prokolin 10ml PO BID until stools are normalBland diet of cooked chicken/rice BID-TID until stools are normal.Script: Paroxetine 20mg tabs x 90. Give 60mg PO SID. Rpt 5.
