DIAGNOSTICS:None ASSESSMENT:Olive presented for an annual health check and vaccination. Examination was unremarkable, with the exception of mild (Grade 1/4) dental tartar. The historical skin lesions, suspected to be superficial pyoderma, have resolved without intervention. Overall, a healthy patient. TREATMENT:  Vanguard C4 (subcutaneous, batch 003, expiry 11/27), next dose due one year. Nobivac Lepto 2 (subcutaneous, batch A003A02, expiry 10/2026), next dose due one year.Vanguard B (oral, batch 842361, expiry 10/09/2027), next dose due one year.PLAN:Continue current parasite prevention.Monitor for any recurrence of skin lesions.Recommend dental care at home, such as tooth brushing, to manage mild tartar. A dental scale and polish may be required in the future if tartar progresses.Re-evaluation in one year for annual health check and vaccination.Home into owner's care. CLIENT COMMUNICATION:Discussed examination findings, confirming Olive is in good health.Advised the historical skin issue was likely a minor, self-resolving skin infection (superficial pyoderma) rather than hot spots.Recommended at-home dental care (tooth brushing) to help reduce the mild tartar accumulation and potentially delay the need for a future dental procedure.Explained that some dogs require regular dental procedures, while others do not, depending on individual factors.Confirmed microchip details are up to date in the registry and Olive is registered as desexed.Advised to return in 12 months for the next annual check-up, or sooner if any concerns arise. Reason: Post Spey Check Appointment Notes: NMHistory-Update:Describe any changes or health problems since the operationExamination: Olive doing well after surgery 0 has no concerns of incision site, but had trouble keeping her less active. Incision line has healed well, still has a small scab hanging on one side, recommended to keep e-collar on for another 48hrs while scab peels off but can resume normal activities. 0 has questions about frequent urination (no signs of uti at this time but discussed symptoms) and fixated behaviour.  Plan: ecollar for another 48hrs., can resume normal activities and recommended doing a check up with a vet to discuss urination and behaviour if ongoing issues occur. Reason: Post op call --- 21/01/2026 14:05:04 IMD:Spoke to Kirsty, Olive is doing well settled quietly last night.BAR Did have a little Vomit early this morning after having some kibble. Since then has been eating bland meal rice, chicken and pumpkin. NO vomits. Has started on Carprofen todady. DUDE. Has not had to give chill pill yet.
