Both ears itchy and bothering, smells yeasty New client, history requested from FurKids Greenbank. They have closed down so struggling to contact History: Recently weaned puppies - 2nd litter. Other day cleaned ears and black wax that was smelly. Scratching at earrs, smells yeasty. Use epiotic. Never had an ear infection before. Extremely healthy. Has had BOAS surgery (saccules not removed as not inverted). Eats everything. EDDU normal V-D-C-S- Diet: prime100, blackhawk, veggies, treats FTW: utd bravecto + HW inj + wormer (milbemax, or drontal) VX: C7 utd Current meds: nil Physical exam: BAR HR100 bpm RR 36 bpm MM p&m CRT<2s BCS3.75/9 Tnp Cardiac: no murmur , normal rhythm and intensity Respiratory: normal bronchovesicular sounds on thoracic auscl. EENT: eyes clear bilat. ears bilat moderate brown discharge Integument: clean coat, nil parasites evident. Oral:C1-2G1. Peripheral lymph nodes: submandibular, prescap, popliteal wnl Abdo palpation: tense on palpation MSK: Normal gait. Normal rom. Full MSK exam not performed Neuro: normal mentation. Full neuro exam not performed. Rectal: NP Hydration: no skin tent, mm moist Ear cytology: yeast L and R ++ Assessment: Otitis bilat Treatment: Ears cleaned in consult PMP 0.5ml each ear BID 7d Plan: Recheck ear cytology in 10d
