13/03/2026 Diagnosis:: Lymphoma, Stage 5b, Intermediate to Large Cell, High Grade Lymphoma (circulating atypical lymphocytes, mediastinal & peripheral lymphadenopathy, ionised hypercalcaemia, clinically well at diagnosis), ICC requested; start CHOP week 3 vincristine.  

History: 
FAtigue after IV
4 days following cyclo hemorrhagic diarrhoea24h metronidazole resolved 
Physical Examination findings: Bright, alert and responsive.
Oral: unable to exam (required muzzle)
Heart&Lungs: no murmur or arrthymia, tachycardic due to stress. Increased respiratory rate, normal bronchovesicular sounds bilaterally
Abdomen:soft and comfortable, no masses or organomegaly
LN: all peripheral lymph nodes palpate normally
Integ: glossy, shine coat.
Mm pink, crt < 2 secs, HR 160 , RR pant, Temp 38.8 , Wt: 30.7

Laboratory results: CBC performed in house with manual blood film assessment.
Hct:0.467 
WCC:14.76 
Neuts:12.13
Platelets:207 

Manual differential count:  Neutrophils 94%, Lymphocytes 0%, Monocytes 5%, Eosinophils 1%.
Platelets: clumped and adequate
Morphology: Normal 

In-house ionised calcium:1.24mmol/L

Treatment: 0.60mg vincristine was administered IV via a 22g catheter in the right cephalic vein using the closed injection Equashield system.
1mg/kg maropitant administered IV immediately prior to chemotherapy
Prednisolone 20mg PO SID for one week. then 10mg PO SID for one week, then 10mg twice a week and descontinue.

Comments: It was a pleasure to see Brooklyn today. Brooklyn Ionized calcium levels are within normal range; therefore, we are gradually reducing the steroid dosage.We will see Brooklyn again in 1 weeks time.  Please feel free to call or email if you have any further queries regarding Brooklyn.
