Reason: Bandage change. History:Darcy presents for bandage change. Ongoing wound management L fore paw after being run over.  Has been getting regular bandage changes and has started on enrofloxacin antibiotics. Owners left E collar off last night and when they woke up this morning they found that he had chewed through the bottom of his bandage. He has started to put the paw down a bit more. Seems happier in himself and not as reactive as he was initially. Has a gunky left eye.  Objective:BAR Integ: removed old bandage - had been chewed at the bottom. Some sutures still in place but very loose - will likely come out at next visit. Wounds looking great. Nil exudate, nil odour. Biggest wound underside of lateral digit extending towards paw pad - healthy granulation bed forming. Smaller (5mm) granulating wound underside of digit 2 paw pad will likely heal completely in the next few days. Skin overlying main paw pad lifting but pad is granulating underneath.  Treatment:Removed bandage in consult with owner holding, muzzle in place for caution but potentially not required, Darcy has been very good with handling today. Soaked paw in aqueous chlorhexidine then wiped with chlorhex soaked swabs and dried. Applied cotton wool b/w toes and manuka honey to granulating wounds as well as to melolin dressing. Soffban, conforming bandage + elastoplast wound dressing applied. L eye mild conjunctivitis with some dermatitis of lower left eyelid where a large amount of exudate had been sitting. Trimmed some fur from around his eye and cleaned away exudate with moistened swabs. Advise probably no further treatment required, vs pick up some chlorsig from the pharmacy and apply. Plan:R/v Monday for wound assessment and bandage change. Continue enroflox    Vital Signs    Weight: 12.6;
