I would like to recheck his CK to see if it has decreased and assess whether his masticatory myositis is improving.I also wonder if the medication might make him more susceptible to bacterial infections, as he has developed a small cluster of soybean-sized bumps on his back that need to be examined.Owner Is your pet(s) insured?: YesL backHistory: greatly improved in terms of not showing sign of painful mouth opening.  However energy level still not back to his normal self.  Eating well, drinking alot.  Noticed a scabby spot on his back.Examine: unable to examine mouth but ok with skin exam - matted bunch of fur on dorsal thorax, very much like a hotspot. However unable to examine closer or clip without sedation.  About 50c size.  Assessment: doing well, would recommend to continue on pred but can lower to 20mg SID for another 2 weeks.To wash hotspot area and o can clip off fur at home.  To apply Bactroban dialy and ceph for 10 daysRecheck in 2 weeks, see if ok to reduce pred further.    Vital Signs    Weight: 26;
