Reason: Coughing History: Has had a cough for the last month, short harsh cough when pressure on throat. Clinical Exam: T:39 P:130 R:Panting Chest: no murmur or arrhythmia appreciable, lungs sound clear Abdomen: soft and comfortable on palpation, no masses or organomegaly palpable Mouth: NAD Eyes: clear, no discharge, pupil dilation suitable to lighting Ears: clear, no discharge, debris or smell Locomotion: normal gait Neurological: NAD Skin: healthy coat, no fleas or flea dirt, no pruritis Demeanour: BAR BCS: DDX: Tracheitis Collapsing trachea KC Lab: Doxycycline 100mg tabs x 7 -> 1/2 tab BId for 7 days Pred 20 1 tab Bid for 2 days 1 tab Sid for 2 days 1 tab every other day for 3 days 11th march 2026 - REVISIT Cough has improved substantially, going to give another weeks course and if no improvement will look at antitussives Pred 20 x 6 1/2 tab SID for 7 days then half tab SID Doxy 100 1/2 tab BID for 7 days Beransa 30mg injection Fenpral 10kg tab Bravecto orange spot on
