<html><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"><div> <p>REASOON: gunky eye 1 day<br><br>HX: discharge from RIGHT eye started last night or this morning, didnt see anything unusual yesterday afternoon<br>Staying with sister in law (she is the owner Abbey) but gets dog-sat by Despina (who is with her today)<br>Doesnt seem to be bothered, no rubbing, acting normally<br>was clipped on the weekend (4 - 5 days ago ) at dog groomer<br>Has recovered from her kennel cough episode<br>O says more anxious arond other dogs and oeople since been isolated for past few weeks - 'social anxity' as she put it<br><br>EX: <br>RIGHTH eye affected only<br>growly as approached, nurse assist, took v slowly but extremely wary and touchy, scared<br>direct light source - no scleral injection, no swellings, third eyelid normal, cornea cleae. <br>Muco purulent greeny yellow medial canthus discharge<br>flourescein negativee 9a challenge to get drop i)<br><br>ASSESS: conjunctivitis<br>warn O may spread to other eye<br>can be contagious to other dogs<br><br>MEDS:<br>dexadresson 0.7 ml s/c<br>Optichlor 5 mm strip TID for 7 days<br>to bathe away any discharges with weak salty water (1/4 tsp salt in 1 cup warm water) and makeup remover pads<br>can use in other eye as well if similarly affected<br><br>O was aksing re weight as was told last visit had gained to much condition<br>seems normal to me BCS 5/9</p> </div></html>

O called 11.50amZiggy had a big day yesterday(very active and running with other dogs). Today she vomited 2 times a little bit of saliva and didn't eat her breakfast but still very energetic and happy. Adv to monitor her for this afternoon, if any more V+, D+ or gets lethargic to bring her in.
