Panting is unlikely due to upper airway issues.  Intubated size 10 et tube, maintained on iso and iv fluidsSx time was 11:50-2:54.  Did radiographs and charted and then s and p.  No extractionsLumpectomy :incised over lump l thoracic wall and bluntly dissected down thru muscle layer.  Only saw fat but did not shell out nicely and was adhered to ribs and intercostal muscuature so only blunt dissection pirimarily with fingers rather than instruments as did not want to go into the thoracic cavity.  Eva (DVM4 student) closed s/c layer and intradermals 2/0 pds.
