Reason: Soft Lump Back Left AnkleAppointment Notes: Advised to fast in case needs stay for sedation. PSHistory: o noticed lump 2 days ago, dog is not licking itAssessment: 3 x1x2cm  raised dermal mass with purple papules that is very vascular as could not get a decent FNA as contaminated with blood x 5 attempts.Plan: biopsy to plan surgical excision as very little skin for any margins so may need to heal by 2nd intention0.4ml dom 0.5ml butorphanol, iv, 2 mls local , 8mm punch biopsy in middle of the mass, closed single cruciate stitch, light bandage for 24 hrs then remove, o is away for the week end so given a few trazadone to help keep quiet while they are gone and neighbour is feeding dogs    Vital Signs    Weight: 36.75;
