12/03/2026 Reason: Grass seed removal Physical Exam: See attached "Flowsheet Report" Laboratory Results: Declined Patient Assessment: fit for GA Patient Treatments: meloxicam and amoxycillin Medications - See attached "Flowsheet Report" IV Fluid Therapy - See attached "Flowsheet Report" Anaesthetic Record -See attached "Smartflow Anaesthetic Sheet" Procedure notes: Clipped over dorsal RF paw where wound was (between digits 3 & 4). Was able to see the tip of a grass seed after clipping. Used alligator forceps to grasp seed and remove. Cleaned wound dilute betadine. Explored hole and draining tract, no further grass seeds found. Bandaged paw with melolin + soffban + coplus + elastoplast & leukoplast. Plan: Bandage removal in 3-4 days. Keep bandage clean and dry until then. If it slips or gets soiled bring in for removal or change. Keep ecollar on until paw wound has healed, likely approx 10 - 14 days Medication to go home with: continue meds prescribed yesterday (meloxicam for 3 more days, amoxycillin until finished).
