HBC History: HBC today. A little sore on front leg - limping. Otherwise well - EUDD. Examination: HR 120 RR 30 Abdomen - soft - full bladder Temp 38.7 Mouth - NAD Coat - NAD Left front leg: Carpus sore on palpation when flexing - slightly swollen No ligaments seem to be damaged Right front leg - NAD Not lame on hind legs Very lucky dog Tx: Meloxicam - Give a 6kg dose once daily in the afternoon for 5 days Plan: Cage rest and meloxicam - if it doesnt improve do x-rays.
