Heart ascultation and lung fields sound normal. NSF on abdominal palpation.  Fine to proceed with surgery.   Hernias - NoRetained Canines - No Back Dew Claws - NoANAESTHETIC:Premed with acepromazine at 0.03 mg/kg and methadone 0.3mg/kg SC, induction with alfaxalon at 1-2 mg/kg via cephalic catheter,intubation and maintained on isoflurane and oxygen. SURGERY:Clip and surgical scrub.  Elliptical incision of skin made around lump with __ cm margins with #10 scalpel.Blunt dissection of SQ tissue with metzenbauum scissors and en bloc removal of lump. SQ closure with simple continuous 2-0 PDS and knot buried. Skin closure with cruciate 2-0 supra mid, good skin apposition. Good recovery when waking up post surgery.Pain relief - Loxicom at 0.2mg/kgPLAN: Recommend suture line check in 10-14d if owner has any concerns

EDDU normal.F/T/HW/W prevention: Simparica trio Diet: Chicken rice and veg and kibble mixture EXAMDemeanour: BAR BCS: 6/9Heart / Lungs auscultation: NAD, normal rate and rhythm, no murmur noted Eyes / Ears: NAD Nose / Oral Cavity: Grade 1 dental disease evident, mild gingivitis and some calculus build up Abdominal palpation: Soft and palpable Musculoskeletal: Good ROM, no reaction on palpation Neuro: NAD Lymph Nodes: NAD Skin/Coat/Genitals: Left lateral thigh just above stifle - small approx 1cm x 1cm cutaneous mass evident, has been licking and removed hair - has been there over 6 months and slightly increased in size. Only recently started bothering dog. FNA Cytology:Marked round cells aspirated - appear relatively uniform Slightly stippled and vacuolated cytoplasm noted. Ddx: benign vs malignant mass  Rectal (if indicated): NE ASSESSMENT:  Healthy and fine to vaccinate.Vaccine given: C3RECOMMENDATIONS: Advise next due for health check in >> 12 months     Vital Signs    Weight: 9.8;
