"Large patch of fur missing that’s she’s been licking, same spot on her right arm as when it happened about a year ago." hx fully resolved after tx last time then noted last Thursday access to balcony but none recently flea/tick - nexgard spectra spot on diet - roy/can appetite control, lightweight biscuits pe 5.3kg mm pink and moist, crt1-2s eyes and ears grossly normal oral examination - g1/4 dental disease, no obvious oral lesions, some erythema between upper lips chest and heart auscultation wnl haircoat good quality abdo palp comfortable R armpit - clipped, red, irritated lesion - no obvious pustules/scaling, not raised, no plaques evident - see image impression smear cytology unremarkable assessment suspect allergic dermatitis in axillary region - unusual location severity - mild, currently but pruritic comms discussed treatment vs additional testing given this is second episode. last episode 1y prior plan convenia 0.53ml SC pred 5mg 5d PO SID tapering dose - first pred given in consult next time - consider serum allergy test (need 10ml serum) vs biopsy if severity is worsening owners to update with progress in 1w See image attached taken by FT
