Examine:BAREars- mild brown discharge present bilaterally, mild discomfort of canals, no obvious redness, cytology- right yeast ++++, left yeast ++Chest asuc- no murmur or arrythmia noted Normal BV sounds Eyes- is blind Abdomen soft and comfortable nad Assessment:Bilateral otitis externa malassezia. Lots of hair present in canals, tried trimming with clippers but unable to see down to TM. Discussed long acting vs short acting treatment. Owner has opted for daily treatment at homeTreatment:Cleaned ears with otoflushTrimmed hair as much as possible Dermotic BID q 10d 1ml in each ear Plan:Revisit in 12 days for reassessment of ears.
