Yesterday morning Abby vomited food- yellow colour consistent with the pea Prime 100 roll- and some dry food.Last night had a few bouts of mucousy diarrhoea freq through the night. Didn't eat yesterday.Today a bit quiet. No further vomiting thru the day, no more faeces. Ate a small amount around 1pm.Examine: QAR, interactive. Mm pink. Teeth ok, Thorax 1/6 murmur. HR 92, abdo- soft, non painful. BT 38.4CAssessment: gastroenteritis- acute onset.See recent hx  re hospitalisation period at NSVH with severe gastroenteritis.Back ground of IBD.Discuss in detail. As she seems a bit improved as the day has gone on we can try symptomatic management and monitor.Discuss preference to avoid metronidazol at this stage if we can.Treatment: 2.5ml Cerenia scAdd 5ml prokolin po bid- may need more if going ok in next few days.O has 8mg zofran wafers with him- can give 1 into gum pouch twice daily if appetite not great.If no better by tomorrow or ongoing GIT signs to rv for additional diagnostics such as a blood screen and additional tx.Stick to current diet.O has 8mg zofran    Vital Signs    Weight: 24.3;
