HISTORY:
Has been limping on RF 
No history of trauma
no bleeding or lacerations
O have palpated entire leg with no indication of pain

CLINICAL FINDINGS: 
2/5 lames RF
Swollen metacarpals
resents palpation over metacarpals
Rest of limb Fl and Ex normal ROM 
Mentation: BAR
HR: 100
RR: 20
MM: p and m
CRT:  0.5s

PROBLEM LIST:
RF lameness

TREATMENT:
Meloxicam SID

CLIENT COMMUNICATION/PLAN:
Revisit if no improvement 
Rest until 100%

Came in for suture removal, dog v difficult to handle. has been scratching wound/stiches on neck, owners concerned may need more intervention.
Large scab- removed- removed 2 sutures, 5cm open wound, v superficial - cleaned with chlorhex, - advised owner, keep clean, do not let dog scratch.

Re-check if concerned but should heal on its own.

Showed them the 35kg syringe and to give entire amount once daily
re-iterated to check it is a kg syringe not ml syringe
