10/03/2026 Could not finalise invoice with IDEXX add on test, so had to delete test and added as micellaneous fee.  | 03/03/2026 Called IDEXX. Unable to speak to pathologist Dr Catherine as at a conference. ST Dr Jeff another clin path resident. 

Recently, new test 
VetConnect Cancer dx test - only detects lymphoma (more to follow). 
Because cytology submitted - advantage code - CANDXIA  list price $29 + GST + clinic charges. 
Blood test is specific for lymphoma - positive result confirms cancer/lymphoma 
Negative 80% sensitivity - 1/5 false negative
Blood test - EDTA + plain serum tube 
Turn around time 2-4 days 

03/03/2026 O presented with Bobbie
Bloods collected from R cephalic and sent EDTA and serum tube to IDEXX
Unable to submit investigation as invalid link, but have submitted via vetconnect plus. 


05/03/2026 The blood results is not consistent with Lymphoma

Plan to email zoetis dx medicine team to discuss what would be the next best step given Bobbie is so well. CD will follow up next wednesday as long as she remains well.

Cytology results:
Mild hepatocellular pleomorphism with marked lymphocytic predominant to mixed infiltrates
COMMENTS:
There is a notable increase in small lymphocytes with fewer plasma cells and macrophages and
neutrophils. This may be seen with either chronic non-specific lymphocytic rich to mixed inflammation
(such as with drugs, underlying cholangiohepatitis, enteritis, pancreatitis, etc) although an
underlying small cell lymphoma with a degree of mixed inflammation remains possible. Infectious agents
are not seen. Continue to monitor and consider histopathology if clinically indicated to further
