HISTORY:Presenting complaint: Acute onset diarrhoea.Owner concerns: Watery brown diarrhoea, foamy, no blood. Frequent defecation every half hour overnight Wednesday. Straining to defecate outside for prolonged periods.Onset: Tuesday afternoon - two normal stools followed by one slightly watery stool. Wednesday - watery brown diarrhoea on returning home from work. Frequent diarrhoea overnight Wednesday every half hour. Thursday - one loose stool, no normal stools.No vomiting, coughing or sneezing reported.Eating: Normal diet - raw food or Roll Paws, alternating between the two. No dietary indiscretion identified. Kangaroo jerky known to cause issues - avoided.Stress: Owners returned to work after school holidays. Grooming appointment Tuesday. Possible contributing factor.History of toy ingestion - destroying toys, pulling out fluff and squeakers. Concerned about possible foreign body.Previous similar episode - resolved within 12 hours with probiotic.Flea/Tick/Worm preventatives used, and when last given: Worming tablet given when reminder appeared on phone (recently changed due to previous reaction). Acute diarrhoeaAssessment: Likely dietary indiscretion or dysbiosis. Possible stress-related trigger. Haemorrhagic gastroenteritis without haemorrhagic component considered.Differential diagnosis: Dysbiosis, dietary indiscretion, stress-related bacterial overgrowth.Investigations: Nil indicated at this stage.Treatment: Probiotic - one capsule once daily on food. Binding agent/probiotic combination - 3ml increasing to 6ml then 9ml, twice daily.ASSESSMENT:Acute diarrhoea - likely dietary indiscretion or dysbiosis. Possible stress trigger with return to work routine and grooming appointment. No evidence of obstruction on abdominal palpation. Does not appear systemically unwell.TREATMENT:Probiotic - one capsule once daily on food.Binding agent/probiotic combination - 3ml, 6ml, 9ml twice daily (can split doses).Conservative management - avoid antibiotics unless necessary to prevent resistance and rebound diarrhoea.Monitor for yeast infections in paws due to moisture from sweating.Discharged home.

History: Owner saw eating a hairband approximately half an hour ago- thick band material. Recommended to bring down to induce emesis. Had a proheart injection this morning. UTD everything else.Px: Vitals within normal limits.
