Appointment Notes: Potentially discuss moving care to GP at Gabba if he does not want to return to YerongaReason: Owner requests a prescription of previous medicationNotes: Yeronga Vet called and wanted to inform us of Darcy's IDEXX Urine results. He has been back and forth between Gx Woolloongabba for bandage changes. O would rather pick up antibiotics from Gx Wooloongabba as it is closer for them. They had seen Yeronga Vet today however (their regular vet) and they recommended a vet at Gx Gabba dispense Enrofloxacin 150mg tablets. Once daily for two weeks. Yeronga Vet said if one of our vets wanted to administer another antibiotic, then thats completely fine too. They just recommended Enrofloxacin to the owner. They have asked us to dispense this antibiotic today as the owner has no more previous antibiotics (amoxyclav) left and needs to pick up today. Yeronga Vet has emailed through Darcy's IDEXX Urine results and I have attached this to his file to view - A.C- Name of medication: Enrofloxacin 150mg- Previous dose/freq: 1 tablet, once daily for 2 weeks- Number of Tablets Requested: 14- Doing well on this dose?- Date of last vet check: 11/03/26- Date of last blood test:- Happy to collect tomorrow? Wants to pick up today as he has run out of antibiotics for Darcy- Nurse initials: A.CVET TO AUTHORISEVet initials: HYEmail from Yeronga:"Good afternoon, Please find attached culture and sensitivity results for DARCY BAKER 1yo MN Terrier X being managed by you for bandage changes. Based on these results, I would recommend Enrofloxacin (Baytril) 150mg PO q24h for 14 days +/- longer depending on healing. The owner says that your clinic is more convenient to pick up the antibiotics, and ideally if you can dispense today so they can start ASAP (have finished the amoxyclav). Please let us know if you need any more information Kind regards Dr Daisy" Vital Signs
