There is also a segment of mineralised patchy opacity in the caudal lung field on the right lateral views. Differentials for this are a hiatal hernia (mineralised material in the stomach) vs a mineralised lung mass. I can't appreciate the same lesions on the left lateral or VD views. I would recommend a heartworm test, as this is a simple in-house rule-out. Then there are 2 options here: a contrast oesophagram - cheaper and less invasive/doesn't require a GA.a CT scan.Cath"--- 11/03/2026 14:14:29 AYM:Overall doing well, however has been able to scratch eye on the cone and needs a bigger one, and will pick up shortly. O requested some sedatives to help her not go for it.
