Reason: Drank Some Water Near A Dead Rat. NOT VxS : O  thinks Max might have been exposed to Lepto, as he's been drinking from pot plant water and O has seen rats around. There was a dead rat but that was 6 weeks ago.He had digit III of LF foot at SASH 5d ago. He's been on 400mg Amoxyclav since.Today he's drinking more, and not E, which is very unusual for him, but will happily eat treats..He looks nauseous, retching a bit, hasn't actually vomited.Passed soft faeces yesterday.O: He wanted to lie down, mm pink, CRT 1s, HR 88 (O says this is high for him), NAD chest, abdo felt a bit gurgly, and he nearly retched on palpation of cranial abdomen. T 38.1.A: Advised Lepto is uncommon around here currently, and testing may not be useful given he's on ab's.I've left a message for IDEXX to call me back and say if testing is useful, and if so, what test to ask for.I've taken serum and U samples, they're labelled in the fridge behind reception.
