Findings consistent with allergic skin disease and anal gland impaction.TREATMENT:Anal gland expression performed.Cytopoint 10mg injection administered subcutaneously.PLAN:Re-evaluate if pruritus does not resolve or worsens.Continue diet with psyllium husk to maintain firm stools.Discussed ongoing management for allergic skin disease may be required.Owner informed of costs and has insurance on file.
