HISTORY: R: D+
Hx: Started early Tues morning, all day Wed. Have improved, but still D+ at night. Overnight will do multiple runny ones from about 7pm to 1am, then settles down again. First few ones are cowpat, next ones are watery cowpat, some have a bit of mucous. Poos during the day are all solid.
No change in appetite. Did 1 V+ Wed am, brought up a bit of white froth. Nothing since.
On Blackhawk puppy with pumpkin & boiled beef. 2x frozen Kongs w/kibble & baby food (pumpkin, sweet potato, banana). Getting bully sticks to chew on, in the arvo. O gives bone broth "for her joints".
Got some puppy meat as a treat on Sun. Has since stopped that.
Gets training treats, same as prev.
Fed tid, same meal. Last meal gets grass-fed meat, has had that for a while.
Tries to eat rocks, plants. Recently got into the cat poo.
Breeder told O to not let her use stairs until she's 1yo. O has been carrying her.
Cat has been fine, people have no GI signs.

Parvo NEG. Pooped on consult floor, all solid & well formed.

E: VERY BAR, wants to play, trying to get off table, v excited & friendly.
MM pink & moist, HR 144bpm, rhythm normal, RR panting, normal BV sounds, nil resp effort. Incr gut sounds both sides, R>L, NAD & comfortable on abdo palp.

Suspect mild gastroenteritis from new treats, chews, cat poo, etc. Can't rule out dietary indiscretion, infection (viral, bacterial, protozoal) but no indication of contagiousness at this stage.

Tx: Dispensed ProKolin 3ml PO sid pm; may need to vary timing to find when best to give to prevent night-time D+.

P: INI, consider faecal testing +/- oral Abs.
Try off all the extras for now, gradually re-introduce them. May or may not be able to figure out what her trigger is.

Advised stairs are not a problem at a walk, gd for leg strength. Briefly went through exercise advice for growing dogs from Canine Sports Meds. & Rehab.
When she's sterilised, can check her hips under GA; if anything abnormal, can do rads on the day. O keen.
