Findings -
Myxomatous mitral valve disease - stage B1
Eccentric MR jet filling 1/3 of LA
Tricuspid valve WNL
Increased left atrial size.
Normal left ventricular size.
Adequate myocardial contractility.
No evidence of pulmonary hypertension.
No evidence of pericardial effusion. 


Assessment:
Stage B1 MMVD, n meds indicated
as been some mild enlargement of LA but still B1

May go to B2 in next 6- 12 months 

Repate echo in 6 months 

JM notes: 
O noted has started scooting recently- has never done this in the past. EAG- both moderately full light brown liquid. O to monitor after this.

Hx:
--> Owner was here with Riley for vaccinations on Saturday but forgot to ask about an issue she has had with her leg for the last few months. What has been happening is that she will jump and when she lands she cries out, is lame for a few minutes and then goes back to normal. This has happened about 4 times in the last few months. It's her left hind limb.

Clin:
--> No muscle wastage in either hind limb, both limbs well muscled and strong. NAD on palpation and manipulation of hips, stifles, patellas, hocks or toes/feet. No lameness post examination either.

Rx /  Plan:
--> Monitor and start antinol rapid, but no need for further workup at this stage. Possible patella luxation given the quick recovery each time. Radiographs unlikely to be helpful at this stage.

Hx:
--> She's been well with no problems to report. On simparica trio monthly.

Clin:
--> HR 120 - grade V/VI murmur but no arrhythmias; chest sounds clear, RR panting; mm pink moist, CRT 1 sec. NAD on abdo palp, LNs WNLs, good coat and skin, clean eyes and ears, great dental health, BCS 6/9, BAR but nervous.

Rx /  Plan:
--> Protech C2i (3291022) sc, protech Pi2 (5264017) sc & protech bronchishield oral (5245047A) po.

Plan:
1) Repeat echocardiogram in January.
