Lacerations/Scratches 

Hx: Several cuts and lacerations done by other cat which freaked out for unknown reason, no other concerns with Karma otherwise 

CE: 
Behaviour: BAR, friendly 
Eyes: bright, Ears: clean, LNs WNLs
MMs pink and moist, Teeth: C0-1 G0-1 
HR: 240 - grade 2 heart murmur, Chest: clear 
Abdo Palp: unremarkable 
Skin: one larger full thickness laceration, several other scratches throughout body, one site appears to require stitch-up 
BCS: 4/9 
Temp: 37.6

Advised admitting for GA to flush and stitch up wound on back leg +/- any other wounds 
- estimated $2000-2800 for this, owners declined pre-ga bloods, can be kept overnight boarding and hopefully be discharged in the morning all goes well 
- owners would like call after op no matter what time. Advised of heart murmur picked up today, not noticed on previous vet visits, will monitor, not all heart murmurs significant in cats, if consistent/progressing justified echocardiography

premed - methone 0.2mg/kg IV
Maropitant 1mg/kg IV
Induction 0.7ml alfax, 3.5 mm ET uncuffed
maintained on isofluorein
wounds cleaned and debrided
superficial laceration. 
Intradermal suture 3/0 monoplus

TGH- 
amoxyclav 50mg q12hrs for5d
Metacam 3,5kg dose SID for 3 days
strict rest
ecollar on for 10 days

D/C home
Discussed D/C meds with O and post op care/ symptoms to monitor for. 
Pot op check in 3 days 
Discussed HM in cats, particulary HCM in sphynx breed, Recc echocardiogram and offered referral- O declined for now
