Has been happening the last few months but very intermittent and only lasts a few minutes. Owner showed a video of Luna turning around and biting at skin near tail base as though something irritating her. Has just started chewing and scratching at front feet which is what she does when she is due for cytopoint injection. EDDU unchanged. No scooting. Faeces normal. UTD with parasite/flea control.Examination: BARMM: pink moist CRT <2sEENT: wnlSkin: Ventral carpal area dry alopecic skin. Mild redness interdigital areasRest of skin and ears fine. No obvious skin issues/irritation around tail base/underneath tail Heart/lungs: wnlAbd palp: wnl MSK: wnl, no spinal pain, good ROM in hips Rectal: Full anal glands, slightly difficult to express. Otherwise NSFAssessment: Skin allergies Irritation around back end - skin allergies, full anal glands, other? Plan: CYtopoint inj given 40mg SC Owner to monitor irritation around back end.
