PLAN:
Went to AES over weekend for rat bait ingestion - admitted after 5pm and induced vomiting. Recc by referring vet to consider tx with vitamin K for 28 days or recheck PT/APTT 48-72 hours post ingestion.
Ox presented at 8:30am Tuesday morning - discussed with owner would like to wait 48-72 hours prior to taking bloods as presented at 5pm 8/03. So for accuracy will need to book appointment approximately 48 hours at least post ingestion which is after 5pm from 10/03.
Will likely require bloods PT/APTT however will require anti-anxieties prior to appointment as very anxious dog in the clinic.
Ox happy with plan and will book in 48-72 hours post rat bait ingestion
