It is normal for dogs to have skin flares despite cytopoint. The missed dose 2 weeks ago may of contributed but the inflammation is not well treated with cytopoint so flares still happen fi ++ allergens around. I suspect the eyes will settle with the oral steroids as is allergy based as well <br><br>1. Malaseb - twice weekly for the next 3 weeks - leave on for 10 minutes dont dilute prior - rinse after, Go in direction of hair and use on paws as well. This treats the infections (secondary) that he has and we need to recheck in 3 weeks to ensure they have resolved. <br>2. Easotic - more ear medication ONCE per day until recheck - this is because he has an ear infection (secondary to inflammation) again. We will check this infection has resolved at the next check up then once again we will get him onto long term ear maintenance (eg once per week we just treat the ears to reduce inflammation) <br>3. Prednisolone tablets - tapering dose as he has ALOT of inflammation of the skin. We will not do the cytopoint today as he is having this instead. The prednisolone will cause increased drinking and hunger and panting but is the best treatment for inflammation/swollen skin disease<br>3. Kenacomb cream - put on the folds of the face every day until recheck - then we will reduce to once to twice per week<br>4. Cortavance spray - I will dispense this at the next visit and we need to be doing this long term 1-2 times per week on the feet even if they look normal. None today or next 3 weeks as he is going on oral steroids. </p>

Skin under good control generally from cytopoint but he has the occasional bad flareups.Has been licking paws to the point where they were bleeding (this 2was 7-10d ago) so O did malaseb baths and that settled things down a bit. the next day they were still red but he wasnt going crazy for them.Feet are mildly pink.Tx 30mg cytopoint SC.O about to go away - home ceph 300mg bid 10d while O away so minimal chance O's parents need to bring him in.weight loss going well. Nect checkpoint 19.0kg then reasses.
