Also seemed to knuckle on affected foot.<br>O noted that he started weight bearing in car.<br><br>WELLNESS PLAN<br>not discussed<br><br>OBJECTIVE <br>Demeanor BAR. Growing in confidence, happy to be examined while O feeding treats.<br><br>Oral: Mucous membranes are moist, pink, CR &lt; 2 sec. SM lymph nodes normal. No dental disease noted. <br>Eyes and ears are clear. <br>HR/ RR WNL<br>Musculoskeletal: grade 2/6 lameness R forelimb @ stand and walk, no other gaits observed in consult. No repeatable pain response on palpation of long bones/ joints. No swelling or crepitus, full rom all joints, no pain. <br>Neurological: normal head and neck position, placing R forelimb normally, normal proprioception.<br>Abdominal: abdomen soft and comfortable to palpate<br>Urinary: bladder small- no other abnormalities noted.<br>Rectal: not performed, faeces on thermometer normal. Temperature was not taken<br>Reproductive (incl ext genitalia): no abnormalities noted. <br>Integument: coat clean and dry- No fleas or ticks evident, otherwise no significant abnormalities.<br><br><br>DIAGNOSTIC TEST<br>Discussed xrays to rule out boney injury, liklihood of fracture lower due to no repeatable pain response on palpation<br><br>DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSTIC<br>Soft tissue/ bone injury<br><br>DIAGNOSIS<br>Open<br><br>TREATMENT<br>O opted for treatment trial with nsaids. 0.55ml meloxicam (1.5mg/ml) administered s/c, home with oral meloxicam @0.1mg/kg once daily starting tomorrow morning with food. Discontinue if vomitting or diarrrhoea occurs, use for 2-3d. Rest and monitor, RV for sedation/ xrays ini.</p>
