09/03/2026 ongoing cushings. os have elected not to manage. panting increasing, constant now. barking randomly, barking through night. urinating very frequently, inside, drinking lots. more grumpy, snapping at owner occasionally. cannot groom face. ongoing arthritis. more dissociated, wanting to be left alone. o feels qol is decreasing. S; anxious, alert/responsive. O; t 38.8, hr 110, mms pink, cannot examine mouth thoroughly lungs harsh, panting. eyes bilateral cataracts ears nad lns nad skin thinning coat. abdo pot bellied, hepatomegally, ms generalised mucle wastage. stiff gait. urogen nad externally. A; cushings poss uti? cognitive dysfunction/anxiety hearing/vision loss. rotten mouth. P; discussed with o. multiple issues. next step consider bloods and treatment for cushings, discussed monitoring, side effects etc. given other issues, o has elected euth as qol deteriorating, and only likely to get worse. offered pain relief , anti-anxiety meds etc, but likely only temporary response if any. euth sedated 0.1ml butorphanol, 0.1ml acp10. catheterised. 8ml lethabarb. smooth euth. o still deciding whether individual vs group. body on hold.
