PRESENTED FOR: Bi-cavity REASON FOR REFERRAL: Haematuria without pyuria or proteinuria. Quite frank blood at end of urination.This dog has been to you for cardiac CT for cardiac tamponade due to haemopericardium, there was concern regarding heart base tumour, but subsequent multiple testing failed to find this tumour and the haemopericardium has not returned. I would be concerned if there was heart based haemangiosarcoma it could seed to bladder. The dog however has remained in excellent health and there is no hint the cardiac problem has returned but it may be worth scanning the pericardium for excess fluid at the time of exam.
