Ivy has represented for a recheck following her diagnosis of hyperthyroidism and an intracranial mass.

Ivy initially was referred to our internal medicine department in December 2025. Subsequent testing revealed the underlying cause to be hyperthyroidism and an intracranial mass consistent with a lipoma.

Ivy Fraser reports that Ivy is currently doing well. Skin is much improved, coat is smooth. No further seizures or collapsing episodes. No vomiting, diarrhoea, coughing or sneezing. Has gained some weight.

Thyroxine
Anazol

ASSESSMENT
Ivy is clinically well on thyroxine therapy. In-house thyroid level is within target range. Skin condition has improved. Weight gain noted, which is suboptimal given her joint health.

PLAN

Continue current thyroxine dose.
Reduce dietary intake by 10% to promote weight loss.
Recheck in 3 months for thyroid monitoring.
