Reason: Sedation Remove Foreign Body From Ear/poss Grass SAppointment Notes: Will drop off 8.30amExamine: CRT: <2 secs MMs: pink, moist Cardiovascular: HR: 120bpm, no murmurs detected Surgery: 22G catheter placed in R cephalic Sedation: 0.4ml medetomidine + 0.5ml butorphanol IV Top of with alfax as required (0.3ml) Reversed w 0.4ml atipamazole IM L ear: - no evidence of FB down canal - small clump of wax sitting directly in front of TM - rest of canal looked ok - very small amount of wax debris, no erythema - cytology: no evidence of infection  R ear: - small clump of wax sitting in front of TM - rest of ear canal v clean - no erythema, minimal wax, no hair - cytology: small number of cocci present (5-10/hpf) Treatment: Nepra applied to BOTH ears Plan:  See if there is improvement in head shaking in ears following medication. May need to consider ongoing at home ear medication if shacking/itching persists.    Vital Signs    Weight: 26.15;
