Presenting problem - Recheck lump

History -O was here with him about 2 weeks ago to check a lump on his neck
He had a sedation last time and the vet was not too worried, thought maybe inflammatory so gave him some metacam
It got smaller the meds and now it is bigger again
He is otherwise well, EDDU all fine.

Clinical Examination:
Body condition score: 3/5
TPR: WNL
R submandibular lymph node double in size, L SM LN normal sized

Assessment: Enlarged LN - cytology at last visit revealed inflammatory process

Inflammation of unknown cause?

Treatment Plan:
Due to the re- occurrence of it being enlarged again advised O that we can trail an antibiotic along with the metacam incase there is an infection somewhere we cannot identify at this state.
Warned O that if there is no resolution, the next step will be to refer for a head and neck CT to find the cause of the enlargement
Advised O to call us if the LN gets large again and we can book her in for the CT through the austins online booking system for the next available outpatient CT.
