ACL Examination for Insurance- A full cranial drawer test was not performed as Leroy was not compliant.- Based on physical examination, there are no clinical signs of stifle instability or cruciate disease.- Crepitus noted in the left hip, likely due to age-related wear and tear (osteoarthritis).- Options discussed included starting a joint supplement as a preventative measure.- Therapies discussed: Rose-hip Vital or Antinol supplements recommended.2. Dental Disease- Mild to moderate plaque accumulation noted.- Therapies discussed: Daily teeth brushing with a coarse cloth or doggy toothbrush, dental treats (e.g., Greenies), and carrots. Advised to be mindful of calorie intake with treats. Advised against feeding bones due to risk of tooth fracture or obstruction. Pig's ears are high in fat.- A professional dental scale and polish under general anaesthesia with full mouth dental x-rays was recommended within the next 12 months. It is not considered urgent.3.
