Hx Coughing last few days. Harsh cough, multiple times per day for prolonged periods. Coughed up flecks of blood on the weekend. Has been giving paracetamol for analgesia- concerned throat is sore. Energy levels slightly reduced but EDUD normal. Goes to dog parks, in contact dog has KC. UTD C5. PEBAR MM pink, moist, CRT 1-2s Harsh cough on tracheal pinch. THoracic ausc NAD. Heart normal, no murmur or arrhythmia. Normal bronchovesicular sounds, no crackles or wheezes. Abdo palp NAD. Assessement  Suspect infectious tracheobronchitis Doxycycline dipensed due to blood in material coughed upTx Doxycycline 300 mg SID for 10 days Codeine 30 mg BID 5 days Revisit INI within 2 weeks or deterioration.
