Wound has healed well, and the patella tracks normallyDiagnostic Imaging: Lat and AP views of the stifles were takenRight tibial osteotomy site is healing well, 2 x pins present show no signs of lucency. The pins extend 7mm past the caudal bone cortex.Assessment: Good post-op recoveryPlan: Discharge to the owner with the following instrucitons:1. Gradual return to exercise - starting with 15 minute walks twice daily, increasing up to 30 minute walks over the next 3-4 weeks2. Swimming is ok, do not run through soft sand3. Discontinue the gabapentin, can be used if has a painful day4. Watch for weight gain - was desexed in november and is already overweight.
