         Other key findings = left hind limb digit 4 nail has been pulled off exposing quick 

Assessment - dog must have had a pulled nail that has since been completely pulled out 
Discussed      - no real treatment needed from here, applied a light bandage to provide some padding and prevent it from being knocked and getting dirty 
Treatment Plan - meloxicam for some pain relief. bandage can be removed after 2 days or whenever dog pulls it off. owner has cone at home which advised he should put on when not home to prevent charles from licking the foot. watching for signs of infection swelling, discharge

bandage has gotten dirty. O asking what to do. 
They can take the bandage off. Need to come back for re-bandage if he starts excessively lick the area, or place an e-collar. GM
