09/03/2026 going well, eduf all ok. skin a bit crusted over last few days, o bathing with sterile water. removed sutures. some cutting into skin. surrounding erythema/crusting commence ceph course. keep e-collar and shirt on 4-5 more days. if any concerns, recheck.

In today for re-check. Doing well at home. Comfortable on metacam and gabapentin. Still trying to jump around. Os have decided to monitor the site for recurrence and monitor for signs of metastasis rather than go down oncology referral path as want him to be comfortable/live out natural life, do not think he would cope with an amputation and do not want to consider chemo. Advised to continue to strict rest him. Can increase to 600mg gabapentin TID if needed +/- pick up additional sedatives. All being well re-check at suture removal next Monday.
