Albert likes to lie on the lawn and rubs up against it a lot. This is is the first in the 10 months that the owners have moved to their new place, that Albert has developed a rash.Rash seems to be getting redder + bumpier.Hasn't had any food trials for skin sensitivities and no medications or supplements for skin issues.Got groomed last week, O thinks they may have used Maleseb ?On Portexin and Denamarine. On Eureka liver food. EDDU normally.Also has Ductal plate malformation and biochemical hepatopathy (ARH Hx).On Nexgard Spectra + Tapewormer, O believes UTD.Examination:Hydration status (%): hydration clinically adequateCardiovascular: cardiac auscultation normal, normal rhythm, pulse pressures normal and synchronousRespiratory: thoracic auscultation clear sounds bilaterally, respiratory effort normal, no nasal dischargeNeurological: neurologically no significant findingsMusculoskeletal: ambulating normally, no palpable neck, spine, limb or joint painGastrointestinal:- Oral: 0- Abdominal: no detectable pain on abdominal palpation, no palpable organomegaly or mass lesions noted- Rectal: Not performedUrinary: NSFReproductive: NSFIntegument/Ears: Erythematous rash noted on the ventral abdomen. No pustules observed.Lymph Nodes: NSFEyes: NSFLABORATORY:Cytology via impression smear was performed on the abdominal skin.Interpretation: Mild inflammation and infection were noted.ASSESSMENT:Albert presented for an erythematous and pruritic rash on his ventral abdomen. The history is suggestive of a possible contact allergy, potentially to grass. Examination and cytology confirmed a mild superficial pyoderma and inflammation.TREATMENT:NonePLAN:The plan is to manage the skin inflammation while avoiding oral antibiotics that could interfere with his ongoing liver assessment with his primary veterinarian.Prescribed Zenrelia (1 tablet once daily, with or without food). Two weeks of medication dispensed. The owner was advised they can cease the medication after one week if the skin has returned to normal.A recheck consultation in one week is recommended to assess the skin.The owner was advised to contact us if there are any concerns.Home into owner's care.--- 10/03/2026 11:03:30 AM TLE:Examinations - Resolved - recall txt msg sent    Vital Signs    Weight: 9.8;
