History: Examination: KMPre Anaesthetic Exam Risk Level (1-5): 1Laboratory: Pre Anaesthetic Lab-> AWNLMedications: none Premed: But: 0.3ml + Medetomidine: 0.3ml IV  Anaesthesia: Oxygen via facemask.IV Fluids: Intra Op ->IV catheter + HARTMANNSProcedure: Ear cleanR ear scoped. Moderate erythema from pinna down to ear canal. Moderate amount of gunky waxy discharge. No grass seed found. TM intact.Flushed with saline until came out clear.L ear scoped. No erythema, TM intact, ear canal normal.Cytology: R ear: neuts +, no bacteria, no yeastL ear: nadAtipamezole 0.3ml IM. Recovery unremarkable.Treatment: Pred 10mg SId for 4 days then taper.Plan: SR called Diana to discuss procedure. No grass seed found which was main concern. Still just inflamed so will do course of steroids. Use otoflush once weekly for next few weeks then as needed. First ear infection, could be one off, could be underlying allergies still developing.
