Examine:QarCV: gums pink, strong synchronous rhythm, tachycardic Resp: significant abdominal breathing, open mouth breathing when stressed. Increased bronchovescular sounds. No pleural effusion on USAbdo: firm mass in cranial abodmen, possibly painful. No overt FF on brief US in consult. Assessment:DDx: concern for recurrence of hernia from trauma vs pneumothorax vs lung lobe torsion. Plan:Offered radiographs in house, however quite unstable, don't want to stress her and cause her to detiorate without 24/7 care.
