Reason: Lump In Ear.GMAppointment Notes: Overdue remindersReason: History: Examination: Inner pinna right ear small protruding mass app <2mm and protruding about 2mm. Left ear inflammed around opening to canal and a bit scabby. Ear canal no exudate and not red further down but lots of hairLaboratory: Swab form canal and around opening lots of squames and occasional yeast ad cocciAssessment: Lesion on right ear looks like cutaneous horn or similarFNA would be impractical so diff dx would require sx biopsy. Advised monitor for growth and if growing in diam we may be able to get FNa otherwise soften with sorbeline to help reduce the irritation Dermatitis around ear opening. Has some neocort at home so will try this for a few days and see if improves. Will be back in next friday for grooming so recheck thenTreatment: Consent has been given by the client to proceed with this treatment - Yes/No Plan: Vital Signs
