Consulting Vet: Dr. Romilly Haslam BVScLump CheckOwner says marley has had a small lump on his caudal R flank for some time. Over the last 24hours it has become much larger and painful. Marley has had a reduced appetite. Swollen mass with cellulitis on the caudal R flank with an open sinus and purulent exudate. Looks typical of abscesswould be consistent with a ruptured sebaceous cyst but cannot exclude FB or puncture wound or other type of mass. Pyrexic. Given noroclav and meloxicamcontinue amoxyclave 175mg bid from tmrw amowner has canine meloxicam at home, advise can have a 9kg dose with food once daily from sunday evening. Consulting Vet: Dr. Romilly Haslam BVScgenerally well.last year diagnosed with some mild hip dysplasia and some possible intervertebral narrowing. since then Marley has been ok with no sign of chronic pain although does appear to have some faecal and urinary incontinence according to owner although not concerning them. Will apparently walk along and drop faeces when he needs to go and can do the same with urine - walks along urinatingAdvise would require advanced imaging to further investigate these symptoms. owner not worried about it at the moment.---Charges---Vaccination C5 (Nobivac C3 + K.C.
