Mollie's left eye has healed perfectly, just one sml suture remaining but looks to be mobile and will come away soon. No rubbing or scratching at all. Bathing with saline as needed, has chlorsig at home for any conjunctivitis flare ups. Mollie is licking her FR foot excessively recently and was slightly lame over the last 24 hours or so. On exam there is a large cyst like swelling between middle toes, no obvs opening but the palmar surface of the FR foot is very red and inflamed also. The cyst appears to have a paler yellow/white central area. Mollie only just tolerates her foot being touched. Sprayed with local and attempted fna - just blood. Did not make slide. No purulent material expressed, no clear fluid just bled. Flushed and cleaned with iodine. Home with melox chews and advised O to bathe with iodine or similar bid, dry well afterwards. * ok to come in and collect a course of abs if warranted over the next few days, if pain relief not working or foot bleeding, swollen etc needs r/v. May need to consider xray? no obvs fb but very clear swelling. amoxyclav 250mg tablets x 10, one tab bid.

Mollie going well, recovered uneventfully, EDDU happily. L eye looks great, can still see one small suture piece over area of lump removal but comfy, Mollie not scratching or rubbing at all. Has never needed e collar. No discharge from L eye, clean and comfy. Cont with saline bathing as needed and chlorsig as dispensed. R/v for 2 week post op check.
