Reason: Sore RHL Yesterday/PantingAppointment Notes: Has been on Beransa, didnt think it did much, not sure if need to restart again, or try something else.History: Phoebe was limping on RHL yesterday and woke up this morning much better. Last Beransa was Oct 2025. O felt that Beransa did not do much difference and she was a pain to bring into clinic as she barks with other dogs that O did not continue with the injection. EDDU normalExamine: HR 100bpm, MM P, CRT <2sec, teeth grade 2, MSK- back stiff but no obvious pain, Did not want to extend both hips sore, grade 1 lameness in R hip joint, R stifle ok. Assessment: OA hipsPlan: Discuss pain and OA mgt. Start back on Beransa 20mg sc, recheck with vet for beransa in 4 weeks. We can add pentosan if needed. Start gabapentin 200mg BID for 5 days, then use as needed. If meloxicam is needed, consider blood test first. Also consider acupuncture as adjunctive pain relief mgt.
