Reason: Change BandageHistory: no concerns, brought in by O's sonExamine: BAR, no lameness. Anxious - panting- bandage has slipped distally with the wound partially visible proximally. Remove bandage. Ulceration of the medial stifle region where the tape was removed. Wound is similar in appearance, moist surface, no pocketing beneath skin edges, appears to be forming some granulation tissue.Treatment: re-apply similar bandage, with reduced amount of tape contacting the hair around the non-adhesive dressing to avoid contact with the inflamed area of skin.Plan: continue to keep covered with a sock is possible, to reduce licking of the bandage.
